34 here this morning......all is well.
We are getting things buttoned up for freeze, like the hoses & washing machine..............and well house.

I got stuff to make Toll House cookies & will use the Pamela's Baking mix.
So far, everything I make using a regular recipe (like the Toll House recipe on the choco chips bag) but subsitute Pamela's Baking Mix instead of wheat flour, comes out excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am loving that stuff !!!

OK back to work again....I am short a few yards of fabric for my baby quilt so I have not been able to start that, darn it all.
Wish there was a fabric store close by here !!!!

Thanks washington chicken forum friends. I'm new at having chickens and always a perpetual worrier.

They don't really need the heat. The thermometer said we hit 21 last night here. There is no frost in either coop, even though the one is big and has a large opening. Even the 8 week old silkies weren't cold enough to snuggle under the adults last night. When I checked on them all around 11 they were all spread out. This morning at 6:30 they were all out playing in the heavy frost yelling for me to bring them food and liquid water.

Questions about the upcoming show next weekend...

1. Can anyone bring any bird to the show to sell or rehome? Or are they show birds only? Members only?

2. If you can bring any bird, are there specific guidelines you have to follow? Vaccinations? Anything?

3. Anyone want a Bantam English Game Roo? Under a yr., very handsome but needs to be the only roo and I don't have the ability right now to have multiple set ups. Everyone here is all in the same critter house.

Lol Please introduce me to a 4 year old who doesnt get into trouble! lol Chloe is doing much better, truely enjoys being a big sister, and no longer acts out because of jelousy. But man oh man, can you ever tell she is my daughter! She's got my take no crud attitude! And she's a sneak! Already trying to take and hide things. then gets mad because I catch her in the act. "You saw that Mom? How?" lol Then she storms off to her room in a huff. She has learned already to not slam her bedroom door. if she slams the door, we take the door away. And you would think we gave her dog away or something! lol

I know, I know. Bad Momma for laughing. But its funny I swear!

I read through the catalog, and remember seeing that you have to be a WFF member to bring birds, but they don't have to be show birds. I don't recall the requirements for sale birds, but they should be in there, too.
