Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Take a look at the Handiwork of this harvest of Romanesco Broccoli and tell me this just happened by chance!!!!! Really?

It's beautiful! I brought some to the show potluck in my plastic bin of fresh fruit/veggies. It looked like most of it was eaten. I prefer mine raw. It tastes like cauliflower.

Quote: Well ya'all can feel free to "dress up" when ya come shopping for metal art. I don't mind seeing the pretty ladies all dressed up.

Hahaha, well I will keep that in mind CR!

Sounds like a plan to me!! After all, one can never have to much critter decor, right!?! We can make it a girl day, coffee and the whole 9!

Quote: That is so kind of you. Thanks but I think I can find somebody closer. Don't want you to drive all that way since where I have to go is right up by where the show was. I will figure it out or just bluff the Dr.
Thanks again Nikki

Ok, well if you can't find anything, let me know. I wouldn't mind.

Well I had the exam with a REAL eye Dr. this am. He had to remove more foreign body and rust ring from my eye. Put a contact bandage on my eyeball and said I have to come back tomorrow. Also bring a driver as I won't be able to see well when he gets done tomorrow. He really didn't like it when I told him I have no driver but I can drive by braille just fine. I am just about ready for this to be over. I am tired of the hurt and blurred vision!! And then there's the bill. Just for today $461.

That's terrible. I hope you feel better soon. I've had one bad eye injury before - I was digging for my keys and walked into a pipe in one of the underground tunnels at Boeing. It smashed my hard contact lens into my eye pretty good. The good news for ya CR is the eye heals quickly. Even as injured as my eye was, it only took about 4 days to be completely back to normal. Hope your eye heals quick!!!!

CR- can I see a pic of said bells? I've been in search of a dinner-bell of sorts for the front porch; John is often wayyyy down the street or he's simply off in his own world and doesn't hear me calling.

Well, Cocoa is making it very apparent he really is a he. He just got his first upside down treatment for biting the top of my hand pretty good when I tried to put the food back in after cleaning the container. Grrrrr. The good news is he keeps this up and that whole separation process is going to be very easy.

When it does come time for him to go, I'm gonna miss that little fuzzy face with the big "smiling" face muff.

Lil red wattles are coming in now, too... didn't notice them until I was holding him upside down. LOL!

They are cool Jessica. He has a couple of huge bells that I absolutely loved. He had smaller bells, too.

Them Rustler bells were cool! I want one of those... I think. I'm just not sure I want to spend the rest of my life telling the little kidlets to stop ringing the bell! LOL! My kids could not keep their hands off them at the show (sorry CR).

Yeah, my 2 year old LOVED the bells. I thought they were very cool and I loved the sound, but I don't think my neighbors would like to hear it all day long. Maybe in a year or two, if he develops some restraint....
