Too bad we can't get hatching eggs from England!!

But you can from other places....

Or even adults....through Australia or another country....but just be prepared to spend $2,000 + on it.

If you wait probably three years, after Paul imports those chocolate orpingtons (I'm sure they'll be $800 a pair at first) but then the market will soon be saturated, crash and then just like the coronation sussex--within a few years, you'll be able to buy them dirt cheap.

But what a neat thing it would be to help the restoration of these two beautiful species !

In the future, I want to carry on Heather's breeding program with them, so I will have to bump some other programs I have here, cull, sell, you know the routine.
Since there is little need for OE roos, I will be offing 4 of those...and a few others.
In the meantime, I will have a whole brooder full of Black Javas, and BBS Maran, and Silver Cuckoo Marans chicks.
So, Justbugged may have to make my funeral floral display in the fall with no nasties to make it with

So perphaps she will have to freeze my body and bury my crazy butt in the spring so I can have my beloved nasty-sturtiums on my casket

Did you ever get your buckeyes ?
The wyandottes come in the most awesome colorations...and it seems the orpingtons are following suit.
I am waiting for Turquoise or maybe Pheasant like coloration bred into one of the two.

I expected to see alot of those $800 a dozen silver laced Brahmas that we all drooled over last spring, and have not seen a one, has anyone ?
Seriously...I expected that guy to be selling eggs like hotcakes all summer...has anyone seen any of them ?

I have 1 buckeye chick. (I ordered 2, plus 3 BCmarans and some barnevelders from mypetchicken, but 1 buckeye didn't make it
