Oh my ! What on earth has caused that ?
I had some PBRs that hatched about 10 years ago that laid on their backs and kicked...an old guy I knew back then called it "crazy chick disease" and they had to be culled...there was only a few in a big clutch of about 15...broody hatched.
I never have figured it out only that it must have been a bad genetics thing, and have never had it happen since, knock on wood !
******************It is nasty, blowing and rainy here...but warm, definetly monsoon...**************************
Pineapple express!!!
Yep, I'm waiting for my house to get battered by the wind. It gets nasty living at the opening to an estuary... The wind gets funnled down the bay, and right up through my neighbors property... And these darn Hawthorn hybred trees are so brittle in the wind. Freaks me out, had to move the horse trailor, and have everyone move their vehicles out from underneath them... And yes it is warm... Very warm, and I can feel elecrtricity in the air around here also... You know how when an electrical storms coming and the air is getting charged, and the hairs on your arms start standing up for no reason...
lol This makes me glad that I was taught the old ways about predicting weather. Its common sence, and observation...
