yeah most of the time its because i will forget what it is.
when a person shuts me up till they are done and ask what did i want, i draw a blank in my mind. i have even tried repeating the subject in my head while they are talking to not forget what it was.....
its not as bad when on medication, but it still happens and still annoys some people.

its impulsive. not intentional. i been going in to offically get ADHD testing (apparently they no longer use the term ADD, which is really what i am cos i am not hyper.) there are now 3 sub categories to adhd.... i been medicated a portion of my life, and it does/ did make a difference in my grades.

here at college though, the dr. wants proof to be able to keep medicating me. and i was tested when i was 3 at UW, but its too much of a hassle to track that down, so just doing it again and the computer test results are conflicting when comparing with and without medications. but i can still tell a difference. my mind is quieter, and i drive better. the best way to tell how effective the medications are is to see how long i focus on the road and not what is out the side windows........ btw, never had a ticket or an accident.

i know i have add, my family and friends know i have it. its just a matter of conviencing the psycologist and dr.
-sigh-

I have a feeling Cheryl is a no-show today.

Dadburnit but I think I missed you at the show Ultasol. It was a great show and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting many of you BYC folks. For those I didn't, perhaps I will at the next show. For those I did, please don't be offended if I don't remember you next time. I'm really terrible at remembering folks unless I see them on a regular basis.

Congratulations to all those who won awards and to all who brought birds as I don't recall seeing a bad looking bird in the bunch!

God Bless,

I agree with Greg and some of what Pitter said too. I would only add that true friends will accept you for who you are. More importantly though, a true friend would be one who is willing to lovingly confront you if need be. A true friend would not allow someone to behave in a destructive or harmful manner without saying anything. And, like Greg and others said, if you are just looking to surround yourself with folks who will tolerate and accept poor behavior because they need to "just accept me as I am", then your expectations are unreasonable. You really shouldn't expect folks to be your friend if you behave in such a way on a continual, unrepentant basis. I would imagine most folks are more than willing to accept a little inappropriate or wrongful behavior as long as they know the person is truly trying to change that behavior.

And btw, saying "I'm sorry." usually doesn't cut it. More often than not the person is sorry that they were caught or sorry that the other person got upset and "just doesn't understand" or "I'm sorry but I wouldn't have (fill in the blank) if you hadn't (fill in the blank)", or I'm sorry for... well, you get the picture. On the other side of the coin, you don't have to guarantee that something won't happen again to truly say "I'm sorry." All you need to do is be in or get in a place where you can say, "You know, that was wrong. I should not have done that. You didn't do anything to make me do that and that is something I need to stop (or continue to work on). It was flat wrong and it should have no place in my life. Would you forgive me?"

Unfortunately, "I'm sorry." doesn't even come close to that in most cases.

God Bless,

Tailfeathers... I think I may have met you. I think we even spoke... you were exhibiting and were there on Sat and Sunday,, correct?

You have to make sure you arrange this and pay for the table well ahead of time with the show committee. Just an FYI, although I'm sure you knew you couldn't just show up and start setting up tables.

It was nice to meet some of you. Great show, great people, and I really hope they don't combine Monroe into the Stevenson, WA show again. If you want the shows to be separate, please contact the club and let them know.

I will do my best to call and arrange the area to be "rented" before the show here in Centralia...I cannot vouche for the same in Monroe or Stevenson.

I have tables, tableclothes, awnings and easles....and a few chairs although most of those are in storage.
Next time we will have a table, and a banner (I will do my best to paint a few signs) and any BYCers can stop in and visit/grab some coffee/ add to the donation pot or donate an item for the fundraisers.

Yup. I have 'done' so many art shows...I cannot even count...

It should be easy to get Korfus or others to automatically deduct it from an account and set us a place.
We just need to let her know we will be there in one form or another, from show to show.
