Watching the movie: "The Christmas Story"....to funny. I have my own Red Rider.

CR: Glad you found the cure to hens that won't lay.... might have to try.

CL: My choice of poison is tequilla...and since an elf left a bottle of Petron on the counter the other day....I will be having a sip of that tonight - on ice - once I have all these stupid presents wrapped. Sheesh.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!

I spent a fun day with DD and her friend making hair barrettes and jewelry for gifts for their friends.

I just started cooking for tomorrow ... was all excited that I would not have to cook as we are going to friends, butshe called and asked if I can bring chicken & wild rice soup, a roast, and pupmkin creme caramel .... looking for a recipe for that one now. Good thing my hens have been busy laying the recipes I'm finding all take lots of eggs, and I need to make it for 10 people

Last night DD sounded like she would cought out a lung, but she seemed fine today until after dinner, and now she's coughing again. No fever. Maybe a sinus infection. Last year she had piggy flu on Christmas. Uh oh ... DD just puked up her dinner. Time to get the carpet shampooer out....

We have arranged with my parents to have a Holidaze Feast and party when DH gets home...and I am making crack chex mix !!!!!!!
And pumpkin caramel mousse and PIE with gluten free pie shell.

Chickielady, you always make me think of having some sort of gluten-free baking get together for the PNW Peninsula or something.

I'd LOVE to get all the awareness going and help out people with Celiac / Gluten intolerance, and work about things like recipes, etc. I'd especially love to make stuff for people. . . I love baking, and cooking, and whatnot, and am really getting into the gluten-free thing. We had gluten-free, stevia-sweetened pumpkin pie (really good!) as well as various gluten-free brownies, cookies, and bread.

I myself can have wheat and whatnot, but I really do prefer the taste of things like rice flour, almond flour, teff flour, quinoa & corn flour, etc.
