DH just called, PG&E just reconnected the power, house is all lit up, got the generator disconnected and all is rehooked up to the grid.
Tomorrow he is going to open the big garage and turn the solar array back on...requires some off-on line imfo...then load the van with boxed up stuff...and will drive back probably Thursday early and that is when we are having the big snow, right ??

I did manage to clean 2 chick pens, sterilize with bleach spray and add new shavings, bricks and the water/ffod bottles and infra red lamps all ready, and put 19 eggs in lockdown, and in 4 days 20 more go into lockdown...meanwhile I have this cry baby Java Cockeral that is at the ugly-cute stage...wants to be in here. Maybe I can let him live in a bird cage on my dresser...who was that, that had that, (alot of that's) big paper mache rooster, Teresa ???

Wish I had a goat shelter and had hay to feed it....I also have no goat pen or fencing for a goat.....bummer cuz it is a great price for the kinder doe she is selling !
