I go there once in awhile

Quite a few years ago, I bought 4 wooden boxes for $15 each from the Boeing surplus store at the South Boeing area. Not sure if this is still there or if maybe it has moved to the Everett plant. These boxes were what the engines, or parts of engines came in. They were 7' across in both directions and about 4 1/2' tall. Made of sturdy plywood as they would have to be to carry heavy engines. Framed with 2x4's and hinged on one side. I made two into goat houses and two into chicken houses. Man, they were great! With just a little bit of work I was able to keep my animals housed for 15 years in them. I lifted the hinged side and planted two posts in the ground to make a covered porch. If they are still available, it would be worth the effort to bring them home. Not sure how to find out if they are still receiving machinery this way. Maybe if someone knows someone that has managed to keep a job at Boeings, they would know. I will ask around, too. I could use a dozen of these again myself.

You are just the first to post! I'm here, just nuthin to say. I did post a picture on another thread. Now I got to get outside and take care of the critters. I can see the horses pacing the fence, tapping their hooves. As soon as they hear the door close as I head out I will get a horse chorus!

Been up since 7. I just have nothing to say that I haven't already said last night. This is kinda one of those threads were you have to occupy yourself in an already popular and moving topic, otherwise you're talkin to yourself.

Bob is starting to learn to crow.... the awful sound that you go seek and find him and he's the "who me? I did not do anything!" look.

cute! I can't take another roo though... I am roo'd out. So if you have someone who wants a pair-by all means let them go as a pair.
