I just checked on my birds. Our barn is 12x16. The temp in the barn is 16* and no lights for heat, the temp outside is 2*. My 18 chickens product a lot of heat.

I am try out a watering system, a 5 gallon bucket with a 250watt stock tank heater and 3 water nipples on the bottom.

True Illia, but they don't even need greenhouses here!!!

It is a great place to be able to visit but if I lived here I would have to move a bit north where the farm areas are. There are actually alot of farms and alot of unoccupied land here. My parents just live in the middle of PV. The sailboat mast in the background of the picture is their boat. So they head out on the water to escape the hustle & bustle of things. Plus, things are much more laid back and at a slower pace down here.

Snow is melting. There's some HUGE sheets of snow falling off the roof right now. . . Amazing how fast the temp can rise out here.

The news just say he is planning on picketing the funeral of the 9 yo girl from AZ. They are just evil people looking for attention.

I hope it passes soon. Do you go in for another thyroid check soon? Interesting about the blood types too.. Did the goose exchange not work out? He is such a handsome boy.
