I never watched the show, though I should some day, as the tourists are still ever here taking photos of the diner on the corner and dressing up as their favorite characters for the world famous cherry pie and a darn fine cup a Joe (both yuck in my opinion, though the owner is a nice guy). After someone tried to torch the diner a few years back, he tried selling the bar stools on eBay. They did not fetch much, if anything at all. They were not fire damaged, just old and worn.

I preferred Northern Exposure.

I tried to have no more than 1 TV show that I watched per week. We have been TV free since 2005 when I caught DS peeing out the door during a Nickelodian commercial break. He did not want to miss anything, so I made sure he missed it all! He was 7 at the time and knows not to ask when we can get a TV again. When he's real good, I'll buy him some Myth Busters or Red Dwarf episodes on disc. No commercial breaks and he can hit pause when he needs to pee.
