I do not think feeding a dog raw chickens is a good idea from both the disease/parasite standpoint, and the fact that I really and truly do not want my dogs to EVER realize that these birds are food!!!

She does not raise chickens. She buys it from Wal-mart or an CSA.

I would suggest a mix. We started out with RIR (2) BR (2) golden sexlink(2) California White (1) white leghorn (2)

The first FULL month of them ALL laying, we got 229 eggs !!!

Out in the yard, finishing potting soil, and planted my squash and pumpkin seed in the grow room...and all of a sudden, without warning!!!

Walking around on campus earlier i saw a bad omen:
2 strawberry flowers in bloom, along the sidewalk. bad omen.

spring can't come yet, i havent even experienced winter!

I dinstincly remember you writing about the horrible storms and wind and sleet and frozen highway all the way back to school, and the storm that blew like a freight train all night...oh yes you experienced enough winter !!!
