Yes I am a word weirdo. I believe speaking correctly and using the right pronunciation and denotation of a word in any language.
I know French, a little Spanish, a little Lakota and a little Purepecha.
I love those shows on NPR when they have the grammatical and definitive pet peeves like foilage for foliage, irregardless for regardless, and disoriented and disorientated.
I only know and remember that stuff about Native American words in English because its what I do for a living (science and education for native communities).

MMMMMYES!Parsnips like smasht taters! Love em.
I love avocados too! Avocados from the misappellation of abogado or lawyer from the Nahuatl word (aztec) awakate which resembled the italian word for lawyer avocate.
Strange how many english words come from Indian languages. Hurricane, hammock, chocolate, canoe, barbecue, cannibal and coyote.
Pongoid you are a word weirdo.
