I just brush it & the skin falls off, chop it up and cook it in butter & garlic, or in a wine stew.
If you stir fry the thing, it is crunchy like water chestnuts.

Marymoor park you say?....Its really close to my house.
Great dog park.

I had never even heard of it before it came in my Full Circle box one week. They are such a pain to peel! I put them on my permanent substitution list. They don't taste bad, but for the amount of work, I'd rather have potatoes.

Years ago I had a pea patch plot at Marymoor park - someone had planted Comfrey years earlier, and the stuff was everywhere!

I'll stick to Rutabaga as my potato substitute, it's hard enough to peel! I hadn't thought of planting the peas or beans there to help camo the run though....hmm.

Well, my yard survived the wind last night...as did the pile of leaves and hay I raked out from under the porch last week.

I was hoping that it would have gotten "distributed" a bit so I didn't have to haul it to behind the shed, lol.

We rented a house in Renton, over looking the Boeing paint shop..anyway it had 2 hardy kiwis planted on the ground and they intertwines together and grew all the way up to the TOP of the patio roof on the second story (that would be 3 stories tall) and had TONS of giant kiwi in the fall.
Awesome good!

Ogress why did you put a wire seperator in the brooder ?
The babies look like they can all be together..the bigger ones do not look big enough to peck on the little'uns.
It would be easier for you if you had just 1 water and 1 feeder
