Today while on our too often trip to the big WM. I actually remembered to go to the bakery and ask about buckets. They said yes we sell the 5gal (frosting) buckets for $1.00. I got 2 today since I am going to try CL's feeders. I plan to get more as I have high hopes of a lot of honey this year. Last year I bought 2 from my bee supply place and they cost $6.00 ea. The only difference is the ones from WM have been used for frosting.

Thank you 4-H Mom.....Funny, my "mother hen" instincts always kick in too when I hear weather warning. No, I am not. DH came home on Monday....the tournament was on Friday and Saturday .... I was unable to go because of other kids, critters and work.
I have a client, who is an elderly lady, who is on your side of the Mtns and was telling me she was coming home tomorrow....Told her to be extra careful....yep..."I mother hen too".

Ah.....but do they still have frosting in them? That is the question everyone wants answered.....YUM.
especially cream chez frosting.
No unfortunately they have been washed. The ones I got today were butter cream and they still smell strong enough that I think ya could just stand over them with yer eyes closed and eat margarine. with a decent imagination you would be sure it was frosting ya were eating.
