DH said in town the snow only appeared to be about 4" deep. I think the storms park on our hill and dump on us. Luckily I discovered that DS LOVES to shovel the driveway! He spent 6 hours digging out a 200' driveway with nearly a foot and a half of snow on it.


Dryer just buzzed ... I'm off to bed! Goodnight all.

Goodnight. I need to go check my dryer too. I have the down comforter in it. I have dried it for more than 4 hour now. It had better be dry by now!!!!!

I have a laptop too. It makes fixing the keyboard a lot more expensive.

hahahahha. this one was a craigslist find, 5044 broken fan. and key boards. and the screenglitches and u have to smack it. LOL Okay well im hitting the sack.. im seeing triples now!

Mine neither, I have to hit it multiple times and then go back and edit. You once posted a photo of something and your laptop was in the background. You and I have the same hp laptop, only mine is missing a few keys (I kind of broke some when trying to clean some crud out from under the keys). Now I have to remember what the numbers and letters are and be sure to press the little black nubby thing that sat under the key.

My DH does not understand staying up after 9pm.

I did a lot of research before buying this laptop. I can say that I don't remember any one mentioning the keyboard thing. It is frustrating because it is hard for me to type and spell correctly without any extra help from the keyboard. I am getting better at spelling and typing with all the practice though. But it will never fix the brain farts.

I didn't even know that hummingbirds over wintered here in Washington. I thought that they migrated to the south. But I have at least 2 or 3 that are regulars at the feeders year round. I do my best to keep them in food year round now that I know that they are relying on me. But I still know that if I am not careful, Larry the hummingbird will hit me upside of the head again.

I have finally figured out what they sound like when they are chattering. Now that I know what to listen to, it is amazing how vocal the hummingbirds are.They rarely shut up. They are always calling my mother bad names, and criticizing the work that I am doing in the yard. Then there are the times that they think that maybe they are going to like something different in the feeder, even though I know that they won't like anything else.

I am still leery of them after being hit upside the head, but I don't think that I could ever give up trying to care for them. They are such amazingly cranky little birds. Maybe it's a good thing that I am just to scared of them to quit feeding them.
