I started to cut out the window with my Dremel but chewed thru 3 blades and only cut one side. So I thought I'd use my jigsaw with a blade for metal but I didn't have one. Sooo... rather than waiting like a goood girl till my DH could bring one home, I used a hack saw blade with out the handle. Only took 2 1/2 hours or so. And the blisters will heal with time. Is patience a virture? When they were gettin handed out I must have missed the line.

This is the part where the duct tape comes in handy.

Also works to tape up big cuts, and warts.

Broodytood::::: go to Radio Shack and get a computer fan...and the thingy that goes with it to plug it in..or walmart and get a tiny table top type fan..and have it blow on a tray of water, and it will be egg-zactly like the big gqf incubators...the fan blows on the water tray & should give you a perfect 45 % for incubation, ad a sponge at lockdown & it should raise to 55-60% humidity for lockdown.
It will circulate the temps so they will be more evn & not hot on top & cool in the bottom..and sure you could add lots of shelves & more turners.
Great job !!!!!!!!! I love the determination & creative minds !!

Ya know thats kind of funny. A couple months ago I went to use the flatbed truck. It had been parked across the road for a while. I noticed one of the gas caps was off but I found it laying in the back of the truck. Walk to the other side and that gas cap is also off and in the back. Well poor suckers... I know one tank was M T cause I ran it out last use and the other had just enough to get to the gas station. I now make sure it is parked at home.

Ok...So I candled and after much interpretation(these eggs are quite dark) I am seeing the air sack and yolk shadow both up in the fat end of the egg. Is this because the eggs are in a turner. Would the yolk be mid egg if they were on lying their sides and not upright? Thanks for any tips!

Thanks CL! I'll try to move the one I have in the bottom to blow across the water. I also snuck the fan out of my LG and mounted it to the ceiling of the fridge. I did make a 2nd deflector and it seemed to really help. Just gotta keep squishin the bugs till they're all gone!

So you are building a barn and then later you will make it a home?

Eggzactly, once it is inspected & signed off as safe to occupy, and everyone leaves...and all is quiet, we will wire it & sheetrock, etc and move in!!
And they cannot kick us out as it will be certified as occupyible & safe.
Get it ?
If we just buit an "AG" barn, it would not be inspected & later if we got caught they could fine us & kick us out and to move in we would have to have it inspected and that would be near impossible after it was already finished.
