I think she's asking $75 each. I will be going to the show in Monroe and could transport them to the show.

Ooh! I'll talk to my mother and see what she thinks. And will definately let ou know. lol wait I should probably find out what they are mixed with first. lol

I called and left her a message and asked her to call me back....I will double check the price and see what they're mixed with...I'm trying to remember what she has besides purebred Pyrenees!

I just came across an AWESOME find...a dude that CUSTOM makes CABINET incubators (hold two turning trays and has a hatching drawer in the bottom) for $285.00 with FREE SHIPPING.

That's it. You are all a bad influence. I am just about 10 minutes and 10 steps away from grabbing my wallet and ordering a Brinsea as an early birthday gift to me. Mini or Eco? Hmm... And if things with a little Brinsea go well, there's always that broken mini fridge to convert.

Always go with the biggest you can afford. Trust me. You will end up needing it.

OMG, I wasn't planning to start a hatchery. But it looks like I'm heading down that path soon. I have hatchatitus big time.

I know! I told my DH that we need one of those. He said I would have to sell a lot of eggs?

Tell me about the Kahlua pig. Is that the one you cook in the ground? my DH has been wanting to do one of those for a long time.

A friend of mine made it last week posting a photo on Facebook of the finished product and it looked and sounded delicious. Since I do not have a pig, or know how to cook it in the ground, this is supposed to be the next best thing! Another friend who has a Hawaiian friend who has cooked pigs in the ground also uses this method. Simple, using pork rump or shoulder roast, rub with some Hawaiian Sea Salt and liquid smoke, then cook on low in the crock pot for 20 hours, turning once. When it's done, you shred it and serve on a bun or without, with coleslaw as a side. Some actually layer the coleslaw on top of their pork inside the sandwich. It's been cooking for 4 hours now and smells wonderful!
However, if you were interested in actually burying your pig, I could get the details and info from my friend's friend on the process. I remember the buried pig from a luau in Hawaii and how moist and tender it was.
Here is the recipe I'm using - I can give a live report tomorrow on the outcome.
