Okay I just got a phone call back on the dogs--they are Australian Shepherd/Collie x Pyrenees mixes. Quite the mix!

She said she normally raises all purebred Pyr but her SIL came to visit with his Australian Shepherd Collie mix and the kids let them out and now there are puppies. She also has purebred Pyrenees pups for $200. I didn't realize she's up in CHESAW though....what a commute!

30 eggs in an eco 20??? What size of eggs did you hatch? Did you double stack? I'm looking at my eco 20 and cant picture 30 eggs in there. lol

Yes, I double stacked, and had over a dozen bantam eggs, some of those tiny Serama's. You just have to roll up some paper towels to help brace/buffer the upper eggs so they don't roll around when the incubator rotates on the turner. I think I had 36 in there to start, then took out about a dozen at 7 days, but then added 8 more bantam eggs....I've lost track now of exactly how many are in there!​

Heather, those are really cool incubators! Like I need a bigger one! Sigh...........if you find the link, do share and I'll bookmark it. You never know! And if you can post pic's of those puppies, I'm dying to see them!

Where is Illia? She was supposed to be here between 3 and 4. It's 5:30 and havn't heard from her. Thought I'd get to see her new pup. Hope she calls or gets here before dark. Really don't want to chase chickens in the dark and the mud!

Not only are they beautiful, but the trunk style is close in price to the Brinsea Eco which holds 20 -30 eggs, depending on whether or not you stack! More things to ponder.

Hey all you chatty BYCers! Man, I take a few hours this afternoon to practice my stalking and come back to, like 10 pages to catch up on! Whew!
Actually, I was busy making a hatching box ,so that I can just keep my fridge bator full of developing eggs. Had to go to town for some supplies cause I'm OCD and like to finish things the same day I start them!

***Blueduckling- thanks for the PM! I admit I was a bit worried that I had messed up big time! So please believe me, I don't think your mean.

Like I said, this is the first forum I've ever been part of and I'm not real comfortable that I'm "doing it right!"

I do want to say that everyone here has been so welcoming and friendly!

Back to the subject of stalking, I'm going over to the hospital to try to see CR but without a last name they may not let me. Hopefully he registered as Chihcken Rustler! That will make things easier!
