Well my best friend will suffer no longer. I just got an e-mail from his wife. He died this morning.
Rest in peace big guy. We shall meet up in the eternal dunes.

I'm looking for someone near Bellingham who very recently hatched some coturnix chicks and who might be willing to sell me a couple as friends for my lonely only. I incubated a batch this last month and had only one hatch on Wednesday. Doesn't look like anyone else is going to pop out.

I have some that should hatch out today or tomorrow but I'm in North Seattle. You probably don't wanna drive 2 hours for a couple of quail. haha. Good luck though, I would check craigslist they have everything

Also try putting a stuffed animal in with the little loner guy. Someone recommended I do that with mine and the little tyke LOVES his llama stuffy. He sleeps with it, it's sooo cute

It sounds horrible, and over 50 after shocks, one was a 6.8 just a few minutes ago!

That is an earthquake in itself!!
Japan is so beautiful, and has the worst earthquakes, my heart goes out to them all.

I have sold so many chicks today..I love it!
Babies born last night and but for 4 I am keeping, all sold!
Gone!
And over $50 in my egg money bank!!

That is alot of feed money.
We have zero tsunami here, we are a ways up river from the bay.

Got more eggs from Boldog..it has been a busy morning what with candling & lockdown on BCM eggs, and care & cleaning of all coops...
DH is working on the drilled well, getting yet another donated pump rebuilt & ready to sink in the hole to see if any water is in there.
It was dry when they drilled it, remember ?
Well, there is water in there now...don't know how much or how fast it will replenish either.
So, I have to set another 5 doz eggs tonight for Boldog & some of mine.

Glad to hear redRiener can get my stuff from Tamara to take to Cloverleaf for the BYC table.
I will be there too!
I am locking up coops and gates & we will be there.
Wish Illia could go, poor kid does not get to have much fun or opportunity to sell many eggs or chicks way way way out there in the Rain Forest.

OK, I am off to catch up on other threads & such...

Oh, and HELLO to yet more new people, I can hardly keep up!
