Okay, RedReiner: I just had to tell you that DH Just saw your avatar. I told him the story. He laughed so hard I thought he was gonna cry. I love the photo. I can just see this ole' rolly-polly hen barreling down on your screaming "Num-Nums".

Wow, what beautiful dogs! My puppy (now just over 1) shreds everything in sight. Her run looks similar. She tears apart anything she gets ahold of,especially beds and blankets belonging to my other dog!

That's the part that REALLY bites when you find birds that suddenly are not ready to go.

'Tis why I suddenly am not going. . . . But, Stevenson! Stevenson, I am going, no ifs ands or buts.

Well, um, my incubator should be here on Thursday. LOL. I may have to talk to you about eggs. You and I had talked about some "testers" at one time.

That's true...but I "bubble wrap" them right before I send in my entry fees...they are in show prep cages, alone....so they can do minimal damage to themselves and none to each other. Plus, they are out of the weather and mud.

Yup...I've got a few more test auctions going now and then I'll be gearing up for the "real" season.

I think I might be in town at some point this weekend, if you wanted to meet to buy that netting from me, still? I have a dude coming up tomorrow afternoon to look at a pair of muscovies I'm trying to sell so I'm thinking Sunday afternoon, maybe?

I think my Shamo stag would hate me forever if I caged him for that long.

He's a free man. . . .

In fact he now thinks he's a house chicken.

He's been spending so much time on our porch lately with all this rain now that today while coming back inside, just as I was closing the door, he slipped right through and invited himself right on into the house.

The pullet has tried this a couple times but backs off quickly. He actually made it in.

He's a hoot. I sometimes wish I had a chicken diaper for him, but I believe he's too upright and has too low of a tail angle to hold it on.
