Ummm... I dunno what to say.
Kiddos, love them and will bringing my 11 year old. Someone I can't remember who was talking about breaking all the internet rules. Indeed, grown ups often do things we tell our young ones not to do. It's because they aren't capable yet of seeing everything involved in making certain decisions. For example, talking to strangers. But overtime we show them how to talk with strangers. I think this is the same sort of thing. I don't have many, but we do have some board games around here that I can bring to help some of the kids break the ice with each other.
Nyrial, I'm mentally ill also! I think we'll get along fabulously. And since I have Weavegarden staying at my house, I'll be sure to actually make it
It looks like there's going to be a lot of people coming. And whenever there are a lot of people, there are a lot of ideas, a lot of "ways to do things," a lot of personalities, and a lot of bumping heads until people figure everyone else out. Meeting people through typing has it pros and cons. It's good because we can often think more thoroughly before saying something, but at the same time we miss a lot of nuances that can only come across by looking people in the face. Once we get through the planning phase, we can get to the "I can't wait" phase!
Kim, when you go to check the place out, can you take pictures while you're there?
I like the idea of name tags with screen name (of you or your connection) and real name.
Hah! Looks like I ended up with plenty to say.
