Yes they were. He was asking $10 a piece for them. The 3 DQ by the door were his too. He told me he was not sure why they were DQ - they sure were gorgeous! I did not notice they were sick, but I did not spend much time looking at them.
all I can say, it's a good thing that the coop isn't ready and the run isn't built yet --- or a couple(or all three) of those might have been going home with me ... I don't at this point give a hoot about SQ for myself, I am looking for eye candy and eggs; of course they might already have sold
BTW, I did look longingly at the chicken necklaces, but DH said "hey wait a minute, our chicks would try to eat those" .. as I leaned over the brooder box ...
sorely tempted by that porcelain D'Uccle that was for sale too --- but no place to put, and I don't have the consistent energy for the care needed to keep a feather-foot tidy
thought about that Hovabator --- glad it found a better home -- I may yet try my hand at building a bator ...
