BTW: When one invites an entire crowd and you are going to feed them - Other than the close friends like CL, whom you know has food issues - if they are invited guests....TOUGH if they don't like....you are going out of your way to offer them a good meal. I have a beautiful, big cast iron dutch oven on legs with convex (I think this correct - bent in) lid that i use over the camp fire...cook almost anything and everthing in it....gravy, peach cobbler, bisuits, stew, etc, etc, etc.

NO NO NO just to make it clear I am NOT planning to do this. It was just a passing thought. And IF I did I would of course need to ask for help covering the cost. That is the way I do it when we are at the dunes. I plan a menu and everybody pitches in some $$. Keep in mind very few of us have our DW's along. So these guys would live on doughnuts and lunchables.

That doesn't work for DW and I want real food.
