How much lettuce do you feed to the deer? LOL.

I was out cleaning my garden area...and I went and was burning the brush pile on my mom and dad's property. My garden is small...the spot I just burned off the limbs, brush, etc I would like to maybe plant all in corn or in pumpkins. Have not decided what to do yet. the burning I did and the yard cleaning and the run cleaning today sure felt good. It felt to good to get outside. Loved the fresh air. We should be able to plant lettuce and peas here soon.

Yes I do...I'm thinking about ordering them for July or August arrival. That would put them getting butchered around September which should work...and by then the chicks I'm hatching out next month will sexed and those not sold will be old enough at five months old to also get processed.

Actually none. They didn't get my corn either (which is in my other garden on the east/south side of the house. The fence is pretty high and the dogs run them off. The only thing they got was an apple off of my trees.
