I was foing to build my garden boxes & haul some dirt. Maybe I'll just go harvest nettles instead.

Hey everyone--just trying to keep busy.

My dr. basically is refusing to refer me for an amino--now what? Change doctors at 5 months along? The only other clinic is the one my MIL and all of her friends work at--and I've had major issues with confidentiality there in the past....my doctor says I'm overreacting and blah, blah, blah. Maybe--but I'm sick to my stomach, not eating well, not sleeping, stressed out, can't focus at work, etc...and that cannot be good for the baby, either?

I asked the nurse what if there's something wrong and you're refusing me treatment? Can I come back and sue because you're refusing treatment? Also, the risks of amino aren't what they used to be and decrease month by month....I would not have it done here but in Wenatchee anyway (which is a "real" hospital.)

The nurse was all quiet on the phone and said she would have my doctor call me. However, it's now after 5:30 (my doctor is gone by 5pm) so I guess I'll see if she calls tomorrow.

is it possible to request a second opinion from a doctor in the same office? (so as not to go to the one your fam is working at) ?

In other news--the boy we have living with us will be shoveling 5,600lbs of sand into my chicken runs for me tomorrow (he's on spring break now) and cleaning my coop from top to bottom (including vacuuming) on Friday...so that's nice.

Oh and I put an ad in the local paper for someone to build me some bantam coops and a grow out coop. I have had THREE guys call me back--so tonight I have to write down exactly what I want, make some phone calls and see who will give me the best price. There will be a delicate balance with this one....I can't have them too soon or my DH may get upset and refuse to finish the second coop which is about 50% done...if I wait too long, I'll have no where for the 80+ chicks I'm expecting in early May.

Ive heard of people hatching egg they keep in the fridge you can try it. Not sure how many would hatch.
