Nice!!!

That is exceptionally nice! I wish I had sufficient head-room under my deck to put some kind of chicken housing, but the only way it would work is if I could roll it in and out to clean up, and .that would take very good muscles or even better wheels.

I really wish I'd grabbed for my camera when I wanted a picture of that BO rooster; we'd all have the benefit of seeing how handsome he is, and all of us would have been spared the "left my purse at your house" nonsense.

I have a couple older photos need to get some new ones.. if it ever stops raining...

Have to remember he is just a year old... will fill out more as he gets older

So pretty and so remarkably calm! He was entirely unphased by the chicken rodeo Sylvia led your Mom and hallerlake, while I was pretty much immobilized and my daughter pretty much flummoxed by the whole thing. Not my family's finest moment, that day.

Christina still hasn't posted. Not since the 19th of April. I have her address, but no phone number.

I haven't been on as much because it is just too time consuming to keep up. I'm probably reading 1 page a day.

Russ

I think someone called her last week, can't remember who it was. Her DH had just gotten back from Japan and they were busy catching up on things, if I remember correctly.

I just got back....

She's FINE!! wee

We saw an MD first, who did the u/s. She felt very sorry for us having to go through what we did...she said they used to worry more about the EIF's than they do now. She said now, they are pretty common and meaningless. roll

The baby's head measured fine. No holes, lumps or fluid.

The EIF on the left ventricle is still there but again, not a big deal. hu

During the u/s the baby was kicking/squirming around, A LOT.

The doctor said that because I'm "thin" (which made me feel good, too, LOL) that the baby is only about 1 inch away from the u/s wand. So the baby was reacting to the wand & the vibrations from the machine.

The doctor measured the baby from top to bottom--took LOTS of pictures. There were two monitors--one for the doctor and one for DH & I. The doctor used the words, "beautiful" a lot when describing the kidneys, spine, face, etc. big_smile

The baby is almost exactly on target for her age--and actually, measuring a little AHEAD. She is estimated to be 1lb, 9oz. Which is like 5 days ahead of her gestational age.

Then the perinatologist came in.

He said what we have is a healthy, normal baby! He does not see any need for further follow up, amino, more testing, etc. He said she looks great. He asked me how much/often she moves. I told him quite frequently. He said that's a great sign. He said Trisomy 18, 13 and 21 babies don't move as much because they are sick/weak. He made us feel so much better!

Anyway, here are all of the pics I got!

I am glad every thing was good now you can enjoy being pregnant. It looks like your going to have a very cute baby. Congrats.

I see the night shift is still off. I might as well have come online at 4am, as that was the last sleep I got; lying still was just making me hurt more, so here I am, sleep deprived and screwing up my food/insulin/exersize/rest cycle but good. It just goes well with the rest of the week.
