Where is Elma? Anyone?

Highway 12 in the very easternmost part of Grays Harbor County, about... 40 minutes on any day except a summer Friday from my house? Half way to the Ocean, for me, and a long trip for you. Too bad: we need to have more stuff in places like Waterville or Odessa.

I tried for 10 mins to edit and couldn't do it. Must be because I used my forward facing camera on my iPhone so it won't let me rotate the dumb thing! Oh well if it gives a laugh to someone then it's worth the humiliation!

This is somewhat better I hope. At least you won't put your neck out looking at it!

New question for the experts.
At least one of these 2 chicks has been pipped internal for at least 24 hours with no external pip. What should be done if anything? Don't want to lose them. Thanks.

We finally have a pip! The one with the detached air cell pipped first, go figure!

Was that the one with the oddly shaped air cell that you had outlined on the egg? Or was that Cheryl? I noticed something similar on one of my BCM eggs last evening.

Yea that's the one. It's a BWM. I just hope of the 2, they are not both cockerels(which has been my lot in chickendom lately!)

are they chopped up or is it whole seeds? like wild bird feed?

I was just wondering that. In the shell or shelled? Thanks!

They have more protien in them, so I add them to my 5 way scratch to make it 6 way. I feel a little better knowing that it does add a little more protein. But just like scratch you don't want to overdue.

And #2 had pipped! Guess I just got impatient! No Irish blood in me at all!
