Oh and I'll have a few laying hens (that didn't make the grade for breeding/showing) and maybe a trio or two of pet or breeder-quality birds...probably GL cochins & maybe a few Light Sussex, as well.

Speaking of the rain. Today while at Walmart we started hearing this roar. Well as we walked it would start to fade then get louder again. What was it?? RAIN !!!! Some of the hardest rain I have ever seen. The reason it would fade then come back was as we moved from one sky light to another. It was just amazing. I got where I could see the front of the store and there were people lined up refusing to go out. I could only see about 30' out the doors.

Two eggs today, so Suzzy must be laying, too; Terre's comb is barely coloring up, so it'll be a while before she's laying- Sylvia, however, I expect any day and MUST get the coop done; unfortunately I am not up to coop building today, nor even much standing up.

I want last week's weather back... that was such a nice break and the runs to my coops were almost completely dried up. Still not enough rain to flood it again, but still... loved that weather!

Still no rain here and the sun is shining. We do still have clouds.

Oh oh I just love my Blue English Orp and now she's not 100% but she's so sweet. Oh and did I say she loves pooping all over my bathroom floor

She's my fav right now will just sit in my had and let me pet her.. ( oh thats why I cant breath) Its worth it...
