Boy am I sure glad that I have a (Krypton) lock on my coop, for when I am away.
Sounds kinda like I might be in the "flight pattern"?
That's kinda why I am trying to find out who my DN's are.

Not looking for chicks right now. I am hoping to have some of my bantams going broody so they can hatch their own eggs. I have a silkie rooster and hen as well as 2 cochen hens. So hoping in time that they start laying and I can hatch some silkie and silkie feathered cochens.

I am looking at the site now. I have wanted to get a white crested black polish, and have tried for wyandottes twice. One blue laced red, and then silver laced. Once the date didn't match my other hatches, the next time, my little girl failed the thrive. My mom might want a couple as well, and would like Murray McMurray, I know. I am tired right now, so I need to give it just a bit of thought. But if I could add on and get them at the party that would be great. Probably adding on about 4-5 (or as many as 8 if some have to be straight run)

Herbandteas - any interest in a bantam cochin roo to go with your ladies? He is a very cute little partridge colored guy who really needs his own girls. He has to share the hens here with a large cochin roo and it doesn't work out well for him. The hens don't take him seriously(they chase him away) and if he does manage to get anywhere near mating position the big guy knocks him off! I feel bad for the little guy.

CClover- Be sure and let me know if you ever find out anything about why your chicken faints. I am really interested in know about that. You never know when something may be helpful when even docs are a little bit stumped about what to do. Also it is just interesting the way she just stops and drops.
