My Dad served in the Korean war. He never talked about it much but the few times he did they were not pleasant stories. He held very much anger over it right up until he died in 1985.

To those who serve, have served or have lost a loved one in the line of duty. I salute you and say thank you for ensuring our freedoms.

Was it very big? Is everyone OK?

Everybody is fine. The ones we get up here a so small compared to what you guys get. It ripped some metal roof off a shed and bent the door is all.

ANY NADO is big for here but no sounds like it just moved a green house off foundation and tore tin off a shed / barn.

ETA I forgot to say that yes it really was small and all are fine but looks like broody got that covered.

Don't count on it!!!!! We went and got feed the other day and Scott was trying to find them homes. He said they were so nice he really hated to see them go to camp so he was trying to rehome them.

Aww, that is so nice to hear! Silly me - I've been worrying about Ogress's boys ever since she told that sad story! I hope he is successful - that's really nice of him to make the effort.

I think I was mistaken about having one Spitz cockerel and four pullets. I have at least two, and possibly three cockerels. Applesauce. One of the Brabanter pullets has a nice crest, but no beard, which makes her very Spitz like. I may put her in with the Spitz for genetic diversity.

This is fantastic! When would be a good time for those that have offerred to help? Let's see if we can get this scheduled.

I'm in Chehalis. Depending on the day, I might be able to help with some of the southern leg of his journey!
Where is he going to end up at?

I think Oroville? That's way north of Bellingham? I don't know where Oroville is and haven't looked it up yet. I could get it close to Seattle, where I think I'd be meeting with Hallerlake, but beyond that point I'm kind of lost. Who is farther north?

So cute! Uh oh, better stop showing pics of babies in the incubator or some folks might get the urge to hatch again... My 2 week old chicks look HUGE to me now!

since ya all doing a relay... does anyone want this rooster for a flock and not dinner? As long as he is a going to a home I'd give him up. He's people friendly but has no clue about chickens so he might need a young pullet flock, that will let him be boss as he learns how to be social, while being supervised.
