I thought some one else just mentioned them like yesterday of the day before. 4321 or REI?

Nope, not me...could it have been Jbear? I am just overrun with Orp chicks and Mutt chicks.

I saw the post, was a newbie, forget who it was that said they just got some.
I will get some

Not to worry.

Heather, I have a Brinsea20, on a turner, with a humidity pump. I get THE BEST call hatches out of it I have EVER had. Although, calls take special care during their hatching. I have had my best call hatch this year. I swear by it right now.

two thumbs up. I don't know about the ones without a pump, but if you want to do difficult duck eggs, I would highly recommend it! My first hatch was 7 out of 10 (one died a few days later due to something else, not the hatch), and the the second hatch was 6 out of 8. Did I mention I am happy with the incubator??

lol!!

See I have the turner but do not have the humidity pump. I think that Heather would need this for the ducks doesn't she? I am very happy with the results of mine.

Thank you - They are cute aren't they. Can you believe it...Hannah took them all. Stuffed ALL of them under her under the cover of darkness last night. This morning moved her to her "broody cage". I am home for lunch and checked on her...she was all puffed up and growly when she saw me. A few babies were outside, but I had added a light for little extra heat. Hannah is ALL mommy. Even to 14.

Thanks guys for the compliments !!
Oh, and please excuse all the JUNK we have a serious construction (war) zone here as the rest of the clearing is HOUSE construction, wood, T-squares, saw horses, sheets of plywood, OSB & lumber all over...wheelbarrels, garbage cans, crates, you name it, it is piled in this corner.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Would it be possible for you to post me a photo of a pullet and a cockerel orp - around 3-4 weeks old? (or even a bit older if you have it) Do you have anything like that? I would like to use as a comparison for my group.

It must be picture day today huh? lol

One of the blac Ameraucana cockerals.

2nd blac cockeral

Blue Olive egger cockeral.

There are a few more, but its hard to get good shots without help. lol Fast little buggers never hold still!

Edited because I noticed the blue isnt pure ameraucana.

Sorry I go off on a tangent when it comes to kid, schools ect, I have had my share of heartaches and my youngest hasn't been out that long so it's still pretty fresh!!
We are going through all the sprinkler lines and getting the irrigation running finally, I'm sick of my goats tearing up my sprinklers so they can scratch!!
