The B Leghorns I have are light as a feather( sorry for the pun) but the RIRs are much heavier!

They should be right around 32-40oz.

That's good to know! Now I'll just have to geta scale.

Hello there! I live in a small town in Southern WA near Hood River, OR. I just started my first flock with 6 pullets and 2 maybe roos ?

I have one that when I go out there I say where is my little red hen? She runs over and waits for me at the door. When I go in I pick her up and carry her around while in there. Then set her down and try to get out the door.
