I'm tellin ya Broody Muscovy's are where it's at!! They are the best mosquito munchin, fly crunchn machines!! They are so cool!! Your DH will LOVE what they can do!! Oh and they are very quiet too!!

UGH!!! Find me something that can eat no-see-ums!!!!!!!!!!!!

My baby chicks running around out in their big run (3+weeks old) jump up & eat them.
Even the Cornish Crosses!!!!
Running & flying and munch them right down.
But the big birds pay no attention to them at all.

I have been fighting with the sinus/plugged eustation tube sore throat thing, runny nose thing for about 3 weeks, and it is starting to go away.
Whatever it was that was bothering me has stopped blooming, I guess.

you need a bat house to house a local bat population... they will eat them bugs a few thousands at a time.

I might be able to sell them to him if they eat their weight in slugs. We are swimming in slugs! My dog only eats so many. And then you have to put up with her slim danglers! YUCK! She almost looks rabid with that stuff slobbered all over her face!
Do all Muscovys have the bumpily red bills? Kinda creepy to me! But quiet is good!

WHAT !!!! A slug eatin dog???? have ya ever tried feeding that poor dog so it don't have to eat slugs?

I know, but we are building stuff just as fast as we can!!!!!!!!!!

We do have bats already..but they are only flying at night & the no see ums are not night bugs that I can tell.
They are thick in the daytime though.
When you going to AK and what are ya doing there?
Going on a charter boat ??
Spending your free flyer miles ???

camp in a cabin in a state park 10 of us.. family trip.
hike and fish

salmon! no boat fishing off beach...
I work for a airline

no flyer miles needed

they don't pay hardly but the perks are good

. Stupid dogs. You can see they sometimes get stung, but it seems like they have a contest to see who can eat the most bees because the sting only stops them for a few minutes! Willow always wins. A minute after Shasta yelps and walks away, Willow loses interest.

She has eaten bees since she was a puppy.

We got her from a meth addict. About a week after bringing her home and after being gone for a few hours, I came home and realized I had gotten the ugliest dog on the face of the earth. Her face was so misshapen poor thing. Then I realized there were honey bees all over the kids pool and she had been stung so many times that her nose, lips and jaw were swelling and making her look deformed! She lived and is the best dog... other than her obsession with slugs!!! She even took one to bed with her one night and I found it by having the nasty thing squish in between my toes after stepping on it!
We have cut her kibble because she is overweight but she has always eaten slugs even as a skinnier puppy! Just a weird dog!
