So speaking of goats, anyone know if goats will eat rhodies? I know that rhodies are bad for goats, I just wonder if the goat knows they are bad & will stay away from them naturally? Just a question my husband asked me & I didn't know.

goats will make a beeline for rhodies and kill them selves eating em... it must taste good or be some kind of goat crack cuz there is no keeping them from it unless they are fenced away.
when ever we take them to a friends to eat blackberries we always have to go fence off rhodies etc first before the goats even get a ride there.

well I still have two more Muscovy eggs under a broody BO and I just checked and one of them is pipping as we speak!!

I must say it is a lot less stressful to have a hen do it then worry about the bator!! LOL she must wonder what keeps happening to the babies tho, cause as they hatch I've been taking them away and putting them in the brooder!! so one more to go!!

I spent the day painting my new Velvettfog quail cages!
Got the inside of 1 level done

Got the tops of all 3 levels done
Tomorrow will be the backs and the inside of of 1...
Need to find a better color of free paint for the front and sides, tho I like the dark gray my mom does not so we compromised... dark gray in non-visible places

and a "green house-ish" color for the front/sides once i find it in the free section.
