You need to take care of yourself honey....get better soon.

I was right. Dr. says its Pleurosy. Left lung is more inflamed than the right. But BOY dose it ever hurt. only 9 more days of prednisone, Im supposed to be taing vicodine as well, but that med maes me sic as well. So I will tough it out with just the steroid. Sure makes shoveling manure and dumping the wheelbarrow a litteral pain... Let alone my own farm chores and house hold chores, and taing care of DD... I thin ive gotten maby 10 hours of sleep this week.

On top of being sick, my clients are late paying me, my flock is being fed vegi scraps and horse grains at the moment. Ive been milking a quarter tank of gas for the past 4 days, and I havnt had any help excersizing the horses. I tried to ride last night, but big 'ol Red was WAY to full of himself and I was in to much pain. About got dumped when he started to crow hop at the lope, I started to get mad, so I said enough is enough. No excersize under saddle for anyone unless my sister or step dad get off there rears and come help me. I just dont have the strength to work my job, my farm, care for DD, and excersize 5 horses. Gotta wait until my lungs are better.

ASK my BF about that ! That is pretty much been my mantra since I moved back here!! he he he!! I finally had to succumb to telling him tho, so when I popped the "we're getting another goat" on him he said "I'm surprised you told me first" LOL! I told him I wouldn't do that anymore, so I'm not! So now I have to take the consequences of telling him now even if he say's no! Guess it's better to start a marriage off on the right foot! Yes I said that, you guys are the first to know, and no, I don't know when, he is picking the date! I told him I wanted to go to the Hitching Post in ID, and keep it on the down low!! so.....shhhhhhhhhh no telln!! LOL!

Whata great name!

All of Penny's lambs have names from Greek mythology; on the other hand, very few lambs are so smart as mine: he can say his own name!

That is a lamb ?
With those giant horns ??
Looks like a giant/broken horn on his head...

Well Terry finally figured out she was trying to break us up and said, The bank of Dad is closed!!! That's usually the only time he would hear from her, but, he was trying to do her a favor when her husband left for Cuba and decided to have her move in here with her two boys!! BAD IDEA!!! We had gotten along fine till then. But, she was more interested in txting on her phone to facebook then she was watching her kids!!! And she did nothing but complain about living here on FB, that coupled with her "you owe me attitude"! Never once did she ever ask for anything it was always "I want"! I'm going to"!!!! And talk about disrespect?? That's how the argument started!! I heard her screaming and cussing at Terry and went ballistic cause it was like the third time in 4 months she had done it! My kids are 20 and 24 and they DO NOT! talk back, and I told them I don't care if I'm 80!! You talk back and your going to get the back of my hand!!! And they don't! Anyway, we'll see what happens she has proven to be all mouth and no ***!! sorry for the rant!!

You know....and this is just my opinion...but your man may like the living situation as is, but if you put it to him as a business partnership, and you guys make it legal, then both of you are protected in case something happens to either of you. He loves you and I can't imagine him wanting to leave your butt hanging if something should happen to him. Just reassure hime that it doesn't change how the relationship works on a daily basis. You both deserve to feel secure and taken care of. Hopefully he will see that it's the right thing to do. He is such a nice guy and seeing how he is around you, I think you guys will work it out the best way for both of you in your own time. You are such a cute couple! But I read your comment about the free samples and I feel for you sister!

x2!!!

Oh man, so all those blackberry bushes I pulled out on Sunday (my dh asked if I got in a fight with a cat when he saw my arms) and dug up the roots, and they are just gonna come back? Grrrrr.

We used to have pygmies too, but they could climb out of every fence, even with a hot wire, and the doe got into our rhodies (poisonous) and cost a small fortune at the vet to save. The little boy had one horn that came back, and he would ram my leg with that sucker every day, trying to dump the bucket of llama grain I was carrying so he could eat it. They got rehomed when the girls left for college.....kind of the opposite of the rest of you. My nest was not yet empty though (still isn't and I can't wait!)

Susie

Yup, sorry, but it's worse than anything except Ivy , and that only by reason of its fruit and the fact it doesn't smell bad.

Grub out every sprout you see, as soon as you see it, and get all the root: it's much easier than doing it later. Keep it up, and eventually you'll run out of seed-load and root fragments. I have been told.

The last time mine were under control was right before I got pregnant the first time. My husband is a great believer in the great round toit, and the seedload/burls dated back to before anybody knew what horrors the "new, easy, fruitful family garden plant!" would hold. Right before I damaged my back badly enough to be flat for two weeks, I was on a pace to get them under control in... three months? Maybe?

You will all hate me...but years ago I planted (Yes PLANTED) some blackberry bushes...hoping for berries. I could not get them to grow. They were not healthy. I did have some raspberries....but mother killed them.
