Please keep us updated. How does an 18 month old baby get MRSA?

Been there.
Our oldest was a infant he actually shot a glob of poo on DW leg and it stuck. We still laugh about it.
DW can't handle kid or dog vomit or dog poop that is one of my jobs.

My 6 mo old, cute as can be in his osh-kosh bibs, in a grocery store, had a red-face grunting blow out so bad that it ended up BELOW, in all the groceries in the cart.
Not fun at the check out stand when I had to 'bag' him in a grocery sack cuz he was so poopy !!!!!!!!!!

It went UP and down each leg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, you are bringing back memories!!!

At my house we use Bag Balm for dry, chapped, cracked skin like hands or feet. We just rub it on at bed time and leave it. But that is probably wrong cause I don't know anything!

Oodles of Bag Balm, especially when you go to bed (use DH's gym socks to keep from messing up the sheets) wear closed heeled shoes with cotton socks until the cracks heal, and remember to use sun block when you're going sockless: the cracks are mostly from sunburn.

If you don't have BB inthe house, petroleum jelly is OK but doesn't work as well. Vitamen E Oil is really good, especially if you soak your feet and rub it in, but it doesn't stay on your skin as well as more solid oils.

The best of the best is actually lard, if you've got it, or even unsalted butter. Or suet, or bear greese. NOT goose greese or chicken fat, for the same reason E-oil is imperfect.

(Diabetic, has been taught these things the hard way).

No, you're right, as right as possible. Bag Balm is the best for everything; there's this high-fashion model who's still working at 80, and she puts it down to rubbing her skin with bag balm every time she bathes.

Me, I ust use tons of it on my feet and elbows. Which means I use tons of it on my hands.

Oh what about older babies/toddler who has a blow out at night and then uses this for finger painting....Yep, had that one hapen. This was the most disgusting thing ever.

Had that one too and when company was over!

Once whae I was changing newborn Alex, he shot one out that went perfectly through the bars on the changing table and landed inside the kleenex box without dirtying anything else! For 2 days I looked for that blob cause I smelt it. Then I neede to blow my nose and reached into the box,

I'm gonna try that. I should have put shoes on when I felt my heels drying out. I waited too long. I think they cracked when I was sitting here and winding down or maybe earlier when I was too busy to notice, and now I have to tiptoe to the tub to soak them. I know they're going to feel worse when I walk, so I am stalling, but soon I'm gonna fall asleep in my chair because I am sooo tired! I wish I could send my cat out to bring me back a tub full of warm water and epsom salt. DH is asleep; just me and my baby bunny killing cat.

Oh, Bag Balm is wonderful. or Vaseline. Mine though I think I have something a bit more...it just never goes away - that is why I use the Lotrimin. I used to put Bag Balm or Vaseline on my hands at night....baby bottom soft in the morning.

We have it on the night stand, in the bathroom, in the barn in my travel bag and in the travel trailer. About the only place I dont keep it yet is in the trucks. Have ya noticed it no longer says for vet use only? It just says keep out of reach of chillins. I have even seen it in a hospital ER and ask about it. They said yes they do use it in the ER. Of course this was a small hospital in big dairy country in Oregon.
