I guess I need to find my slug scissors.* It's nuts, though- the Hamburgs are tiny compared to the Wyandottes, but they just peck the slugs apart and eat them; the Wyandottes, and especially the cockerels, just will have nothing to do with anything bigger than the tiny baby slugs.
* You of course know I am not kidding about slug scissors, but for the skeptics: scissors used to cut slugs get all gucked up and it's easier to have a dedicated pair than to clean them sufficiently to cut other stuff.
