probably a descendant of the fighting cocks that our neighbor used to keep -- he just showed up in the trees one day and decided to stay

so --- probably a crossbreed of game (more likely Oriental than OE) and standard breed -- but who knows? they are common on Maui and ALL OVER Kauai ...

now that DS is gone for a couple of months, we figure the dog can stay OUTSIDE and not pee on the carpet indoors; but we need a dry place to put down his fave dog-bed

RFF- your name choices are all beautiful. How about combining the 2? Noellyn? Audrey Noellyn Spaet? 3 of our kids have names that are spelled uniquely. My mom died when I was 13 and her name was Gail. My older brother named his DD after her middle name so I wanted to use her first name but wanted our DD to still have her own name. So we spelled hers Gailyn from the male name Galen. You say it like the male name. She likes the fact that her name is different.
What ever you choose, one look at her and it will all seem perfect!
