Thank you!

I will take appropriate action during your check up which in my case is to forget you exist: I am the worlds worst jinx.

Yikes. Okay, trying not to get too excited here... We'll just be cool and wait until we hear from you after your appointment this morning. All in it's good time. Just breathe.

I've got a broody light sussex again. I knew there was trouble when I opened the nest box door yesterday and she growled at me. Anyone within a few miles of Tacoma have a few fertile eggs they'd be willing to part with? DH and I thought maybe we'd try letting her set on a few if we could. We don't need to keep any that hatch, just want to see how she'd do as a mama for future reference. My 12 week olds should be ready to move into the big coop soon, so I have the little coop available for broody and chicks if need be.

YES!

want some turquoise blue EE eggs ?

I'm curious to see what my little roo is "throwing" ...

actually I have fertile EE eggs of many colors, and every one I've cracked, has had bullseyes on them

edited to add: I may have to rehome my dear chicks when we go to Maui for our annual doctors' appointments
would be nice to have the bloodlines go on even if the chickens don't
