What was the clue?
The headaches ?
Tingling?

Nope, nothing but low platelets & high liver issues.

So they found it by a routine blood test ?
You are so lucky they caught it!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday morning, I had to bring my 4 horses home from pasture. That means walking on the road. Well I pulled out my filly, and the little pony mare. As I was locking the gate behind me, a coyote ran out of the brush about 20 feet from the pony. She pulled back, ripping my right shoulder out of socket, then ran forward right over the top of me. I have no idea how she didn't step on me. Then she proceded to run out into the road. So before I could re-set my shoulder, I had to go catch her out in the middle of the road... So picture me, walking down the middle of the road, with one limp arm dragging a horse behind me, trying to catch a pony. Just to catch the stupid pony, turn around go back to the gate, lock it, and then smash my shoulder back into place, on 8x8 fence post... Oww! I hate having to do that, but am so glad I know how too!

Anyways... Im hurting, my bum is soar, but I'll be fine in a month or so.

Personal update over.

I was just wondering if it's too soon to put fake eggs in the Brabanters and Spitz nests a few minutes ago. We understand.

My netting is also getting absolutely soaked with eggs. Several are hatching, but the little larva are so darn young and miniscule in size I can't tell heads or tails if they're moths, sawflies, or something else.

BTW welcome back!

LOVING the Tomatillos and Ground Cherries you sent me.

I'm getting lots of fruit and they're so good straight off the vine. The Yellow ones seriously are like crossing cherry, pineapple, and tomato.

PS - The big moth you got hit by was a Large Yellow Underwing. They're very common, huge, and do indeed bomb things. Right now is their season.

I was out working in back. Mr Hallerlake came out to see me, followed by his little gray cat, Rosie. Rosie and the big girls established a truce a long time ago. They keep a respectful distance between them, but otherwise ignore each other. I think this must have been the first time Rosie came in close contact with the young uns. The cockerels took offense to Rosie being there. Blondie, the Brabanter cockerel stared her down while his girls made their way to another corner of the yard. The Spitz cockerels are another story. The three of them chased her out of the yard

Will you have enough fire power if one goes to your property and poses a threat?
Lots of animals are going hungry because of the freak weather pattern.

Somebody saw a big black bear go into my backyard creek 2 weeks ago in the middle of the afternoon...crossing a street!
That creek is only 100 feet from my ducks.
