I was out shopping- in the "run to Target for Betadine, bandaids, frozen pizza and some necessary items of clothing" kind of shopping. They have an elastic belt in the menswear section which is khacki, so my husband didn't want it, but since all my work jeans are sliding off my butt I snatched one up.

Off to do the next fiftythree things on my list, starting with filling Elvis' feeder. He's doubling in size every week, I swear, and is eating like...a teenager, basically.

My Hired Hand was there all weekend- I don't know if she's cast or just one of those really snazzed up guests, but she's got some seriously beautiful SCA costumes.

back momentarily after cooking an enormous frittata for breakfast for the crew, then to Seattle to watch the Sounders soccer game; then a late-ish lunch while we waited to see if the Museum of Flight was open tonight (it wasn't) and now the rest of the crew are off to get materials for pizza while I allegedly "nap" and actually catch up with BYC -- in a moment I'll go see how many eggs were laid while we were gone

thank You Rob and Jbear, he was quite the impressive boy and too very good care of his girls. I was so mad that I ended up sick from all the stress. maybe one of his sons will grow up to be just like his dad.

*sigh*

No fertile eggs at all.

Ok quik update on RedReiner. She's been busy like everyone. Unfortunately she recently lost Hoss to a rather large coyote. So now she is on gaurd, and more than ready to thin the pack. Guess this pack of yotes wiped out a neighboring flock of chickens and turkeys. She is also getting ready for a horse show coming up in about a week I think is what she said. Its just the busy season for us horse folks

Thank You for the PM and the hello. I did get a little miffed at the !!! in your Post Rob but water off a ducks back you clarified, I was fine. I do appreciate it. I know you were not trying to be rude. once the weather broke I needed to mow, and mow and fence and try to get my arena reworked so the water does not destroy it again this winter. so been busy with the tractor and mowing the former swamps back into pastures. then my desktop blew the power supply and I do not have another so using ancient laptop...hard to type on and it is sloooooooow..... wed. Hoss was killed protecting his flock from the coyote and it truly bummed me out as I had only 5 of his babies here. 4 are roosters.... so I am collecting eggs from the blue girls and am going to try and get some hatched. I have a litter of 6 minpin pups...good lord the poop....

and next weekend I have a reining show here in Monroe, trying to ride and be ready while dodging stupid crohns attacks. so no worries I am still around but am engaged in a war at the moment... I will win... I have night vision...the yote does not.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry to hear about Hoss!

Been busy today with my youngest DD birthday. She had a slumber party last night, then we went up to the new Lynnwood Pool & Rec center, which if you haven't been and have kids, you NEED to go. My DH and 3 girls all said it was WAY better than Wild Waves, and way cheaper too. They have two big slides, a whirlpool, a river current, spraying things all over in one room, plus a regular pool and kid pool in another room, and both rooms have big hot tubs. But you have to get there early. They just renovated, and only allow a certain number in for each session. It cost us $13! Here is a link: http://www.ci.lynnwood.wa.us/Content/Community.aspx?id=193

Then
we went to Red Lobster and I am STUFFED.

Yes, my 3 girls all have birthdays in less then a month. I'm always relieved when the bday's have passed. WHEW!!!

It may be for the best- I really am overloaded right now, and need to not take on anything new. I keep telling myself.
