Female. That's why. A female came through, her pheromones attracted a whole wad of males, and then she must have left. There's probably some eggs on a tree or side of a building somewhere now.

Yes but you can't even begin to see how I twisted em. I ask if she wanted 3 or 4 leaf. It started out as 1 clover but I just couldn't leave it there. Just wait I am working on another crazy idea that should be done in the next day or 3. Made from shoes. I recently talked to one of the ferriers who come to the stables and he said he just tries to find somebody to take shoes off his hands so I told him when he comes here just lay any old shoes by the isle door and I will take them.

If shoes weren't so darned heavy I'd send you what I have here... Last summer I brought my mothers fiance 4 over flowing five gallon buckets of shoes. All sizes too, from mini to draft...

OH Yes MINI and DRAFT ?? Would love to get my hands on those. But yes too far away. Keep in mind if you are needing to make a little money you could always take the shoes to a recycler. Current price for prep (which is what shoes are) is $0.1175lb / $235 a ton.

Ill probably just hold onto them. And IF I ever make it down your way, I'll let you know. But for now, I will just keep on collecting them. lol I have 3 farriers who give me used shoes, so by the time I get down that way, there should be MORE than enough! lol Though I will warn you, some of them have clips in the fronts of the shoes, others have sliders built into the toe. Would that make a difference to you at all?

What other items are you looking for? What all can you use? I can keep my eyes open for you and just collect a bunch of stuff. I do plan on making a trip to CL's place at some point this year. lol Just gotta get back on my feet after being out of work for so long. I might have a couple round marine port windows/hatches out of an old tug boat around here somewhere. I know one is brass, cant get rid of that one, but I believe the other is steel... Then theres all sorts of mooring chain, and these HUGE horse shoe nails. They are about a foot long, and an inch thick. I think they are actually called pieling "sp?" nails.

Sorry spelling is not my strong point.

I'm Irish AND German, and neither are known for tanning well. I just burn.

Irish and German. My family and I were just discussing that, how different states have populous certain backgrounds, Washington being Irish and German.

Well, parts of it. MY part is also very Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, and Finnish although I myself am Irish, Welsh, Scottish, and Bohemian in the recent migrants, and English and French in the DAR bits.

There were points in history when there were more Norwegians in Ballard than in Oslo.

ARGH! I was just fussed about welding hoods- my Dad was sloppy (straight-on self-taught farm welder, no surprise) some times and would flip his up when he was trying to make a fine weld, ended up with cataracts on top of his diabetic retinopathy

but I assumed you were a pro and everything was perfect every time.

Grated potato poultice helps with the burned feeling better than teabags, but the glare headache is a "lie down in the dark" thing, I'm afraid.

Oh, PT, my favorite close far-away place. So what king of chickens have you up there on the edge of the rainshadow?
