am sure this one was part bobcat because of his very large and muscular hind legs, his "chops", and his personality -- he walked like a wild cat (not a feral but a true wild), was intensely devoted to two of us and would not speak to anyone else (hid in the brambles when he wasn't right with us in the house) --- and his coloration was unusual, basic orange tabby BUT with aquamarine eyes --- not Siamese type blue, not white housecat type blue -- only other cat I ever saw with eyes like that was a cougar

My DS just got a Pixie Bob. And she is the cutest thing ever. I know she is a domestic cat bred from Half Bobcat grand parents or great grand parents I think. The original one called Pixie. I do notice a few things different about her, her eyes are different and she walks differently than my domestic short hair Tabby. She is also more spotted that stripped, where as my other one is more stripped than spotted.

So I don't doubt that you have a half Bobcat, it would be pretty apparent.

thank you everyone. Actually just got back from Wal*Mart and saw oldest DS (working). His boss had told him to do something and he didn't want to and was mad. I think we will all be okay....he just needs to not live here and then he and I can get along okay. He is over 18...he just has 1 more year of HS left. We will be supportive and do what we can to a certain degree. But if he quits school or when he graduates...100% on his own. I am hoping the lines of communication can stay open and we can have a decent relationship.

Again, thank you everyone for understanding my need to vent.

Oh, boy: my son is being all helpful today due to my sister and I throwing him and his sweety a party tomorrow. He also cut his own hair Thursday- his thick, curly hair. Guess how well that worked out? I just finished doing some corrective surgery, and every cut I took threw little bits of hair everywhere, so I'm as itchy as I would be if I'd gotten my own hair cut. And I'm nowhere near done with chores, ugh.

No, my BW boy is perfect, stout, and so are the Wheatens.
I never was going to trade him either.

Yep that I will be doing. But in the meantime, Im on the hunt for work. Ive already put in 4 online apps for the major employers around here. Will beat the sidewalks all this upcoming week. Gotta get chloe her booster shots, and get her enrolled in preschool or daycare... At the moment I'm just trying to get my head strait, I had no idea that this was coming. I was so upset earlier, I was filling out an app. and couldnt remember my SSN. Actually had to dig through my files and find my ragged old card.

Oh and to top it off... I went to go to work, and my car wouldn't start!

My younger big brother was nice enough to take me. Love him to death.

Right now, Im taking a break from online apps, trying to figure out what else I can put on CL to try and raise some extra cash. Now is not the time to be trying to sell a VERY green filly. I already have 3 saddles up for sale, numorous other horse related items, my POS car, fishing gear, and my farm services add up... I kinda feel like Im trying to swim upstream against a fast moving river... Just not getting anywhere.
