Too late...mine kicked in this morning, and the boys have had the fireplace on since last month.
Last summer my heat in the games room was on all summer.

Wow, I didn't realise there was so much difference in climate from Olympia to Redmond. I have been trying my hardest to keep the A/C off, and opening windows at night to cool the house DOWN!

I noticed one day about a week ago (when rain was predicted - it rained here) several people here posted that it did not look like it would rain. CR even posted 83 and sunny! It was 56 here and rained that afternoon and the next day. It poured rain here rhis morning, so heavy it woke me up. I had left the laundry that did no dry all the way yesterday out on the line since the 10 day forcast for here showed 0% chance of rain. I'm in the mountains just SE of North Bend.

Aint it great ??? I mowed Michelle's lawn yesterday and just as I was getting done I noticed the deck on my mower looked loose. Got home and sure enough the welds all broke off. S T U PID robot welds. And of course this morning it is raining so even if I did find a good welder who could fix it I don't wanna mow in the rain.

Audrey ate and went into her chair. I .smelled her from across the room! She pooped up her back, out BOTH sides of her diaper--soaked through her clothes, all of the blankets and into the chair! It smelled awful. It was the first time I almost gagged when I was changing her. I can clean the chicken coop just fine and not feel sick at all--but this poop made me want to barf!

I am in Redmond...but on the hills and in the woods. COLD.
But once I head to the open fields...(microsoft campus) it is hot....especially when I sit on astro turff.

or sit inside my car, wiff the windows rolled up and looking at the "hot" summer sun. Then, I can wear my t-shirt and summer shorts and flip flops. then W/O thje ac on, drive to Dairy Queen and have a soft serve.
So its all relative.

But I'd rather be in Maui on the beach

....OR Singapore in an A/C restaurant eating my heart out

, and people watching

Its getting colder and darker each day

& my bones are not liking it.

I need to retire & leave town wiff the birds every fall. I'm so afreared of the cold. I aint born for this kind of cold and I don't ski either.
So I am not cashing in on a very long ski season.
Boy that condo in Maui is looking better everyday.
When are you going home Candy??

I'm glad those days are over! We were on a road trip once and Alex was wearing shorts. I still can't figure out HOW it happened, but he blew out all the edges of his diaper and it went up and over the car booster seat and dribbled down between car seats in my station wagon. I actually had to REMOVE my car seats to scrub the stench out of the car because it ran down between the back and the seat!
