Thanks! I am hoping that either way I can get some hens in the very near future. I am working on the coop and was looking forward to my hens... Oh well... It gives me a few more minutes to focus on the coop, I suppose - I'm converting part of my shed into the coop.

Monroe is no problem. We have some friends out in that area and could easily make a day out of it!

Thanks for sharing your experience with me, Wa4-H, Imp, and Illia. Sounds like by the time I've got a spot ready for them, I should be good to get them in the ground. Especially since I now need more space for the blue potatoes I will be getting.

I think you all are worse than enablers - you're giving me ideas I never even had! Still need to figure out where I'm gonna put that peach tree...

Those shipping crates are all gone. Since then I've moved on to a different solution so it's all good

Not sure how far you want to travel or if you want I do ship eggs. But I have some very nice French Black Copper Marans eggs and chicks more are hatching as we speak.

I got my order from Welp hatchery yesterday. All chicks are well. I'm very excited about all the fluffy butts

Still trying to figure out which breeds are which, but I've got a few figured out anyway. I also got some chicks (Blue ameraucanas and FBCM) from HappyChick from the auction part of BYC and they are doing well also. Very cute, fat, friendly chicks

HI everyone. Welcome to newbies!

I have been trying to post for several days. But it seems this system I am on in AZ doesn't like that activity. I will keep it short and sweet.

Sorry I haven't been on. I am gearing up for court on the 23rd. And while I love you all, when I come here to read, I am getting pretty depressed. I am so happy for those of you who are getting new chicks/chickens and other fowl. But I am looking at possibly losing more than 1/3 of my flock family and the thought is making my depresssion kick in big time.

So for now I will use the time that I can get onling to anesthitize myself in facebook games. The chatter is different there, and I am able to get my thoughts away from real life a bit more. Not a circumstance that I would normally think was healthy, but for now, it is for me.

I love you all very much. I hope chicken rustler is checking in here. Somebody check on him and make sure all is well with him and Diane please.

Hey Ron........ Right now I would love a few of those fresh white eggs you are so fond off. All I seem to be able to get here so far is Brown, fake eggs = egglands best, but still flavorless.
