I could probably do either. Aren't you near your EDD?

Yes- he's full term in a couple days now. I'd offer up our house but won't be able to if this guy is early or we're in the hospital, etc. EDD 11/5/11

Sounds like Saturday afternoon then.

TPB or does anyone want to host this time?

I've got a few extentions to turn into tax returns but right now, Saturday looks great for me.
(Just today I got an emergency return to take care of but I welcome those! That's what I'm here for!)
Third Place Books is always good for me.

One of these days I'll host but it won't be this time.
What time? (Anytime works for me.)

We, ummm, only consider it a chicken 'swap' because we bring Ron chickens and he takes them.

More like a conversation with chicken friends about chickens, ideas, life...

Seems to me like someone just needs to drive by, keep the car rolling really slow, and huck a bird out in his driveway along with a loaf of WHITE bread to keep it in his driveway..........

Ooooo, ship-lap. My father's favorite lumber.

You've been here, so you'll appreciate this: I was trying to improve the rain-protection in the Hamburg coop all by myself: an hour plus a bit of walking seventy-five extra feet every time I needed to adjust the other side, because I just can't quite reach all the way across the thing and it's built into the yard fence. It's a good thing I didn't count all the trips, or I'd even be more tired.

It's not as bad as dealing with the old watering trough placement, which was all the way around the yard from the nearest gate, but it was more exersize than I actually needed today.

I still need to weatherproof the outdoor electrical outlet which just got a ton of duct tape put on it last year because it was the best we could do when the downpour shorted out that (GFI protected) circuit. I was going to do that before the chicks hatched Sunday, oops. I need to finish roofing the wyandotte run and covering the hoops on the Hamburg extension university and building the A-frame coop for the latter, and it's just like the rain-proofing today: I need somebody to hold the other end of the board.

I keep wondering whether I could bribe my cousin -up-the-hill with chicken and dumplings once a week forever to have him help me, but he's worked as a general contractor all his life and my flavor of experimental woodworking doesn't come naturally to him.

I am so ready for a road trip, it has been months, actually since we took T-Hi the washing machine.
So, I told DH we are going to day trip to Skamania, Saturday.
See some of you there?

What?? You can say that without giving me more info!

It won't hurt my feelings if I have a few boys there...it will just give me the chance to look for more breeds I want.
