I dont have any pink bags, but I have lots of green ones that I refuse to throw away!

They also make adequate wind screens for wire runs.

And I'm going to make the sheep a thorn-proof coat out of the next empty alfalfa pellet bag.

I just bought alfalfa in a compressed bale.
I like it. Small & compact. Will take lone bunny a while to finish. LOL

Thanks for the compliment on our mutt. He will be at STEVENSON and if they will allow I may take him into my booth. He is a service dog ya know.
Well from living down there I know that there is a small town / community called Skamania and then the town of Stevenson where the show is.

Local breeder His dad is a national Champ Mini but Quincy is just mutt (no papers) cause mom was just a ..... well lets say not registered 3 legged Aussie.

I would be interested in getting that breeder's info. I am looking to get another Aussie as well as a couple more 13" Tri-colored Beagles. If anyone knows of some good sources, please email me.

God Bless,

I don't have her # right now but will see about getting it to you.

Well, goats don't eat grass: what I need is a sheep and a goat, but the budget wasn't there this year.

A sheep, a goat, and at this moment in my life, a dedicated personal servant who works for nothing and is good with the back rubs would be nice.

Oh, yeah.

Never even thought about wind screans! Wonder if they could be water proufed with something like camp dry??? Hmm... I see an experiment coming up in my near future!

Note: I myself have saved at LEAST 75 plastic reinforced feed bags, in hopes of one snowy day (oh I said the 'S' word!

) sewing alot of square bottomed totes.
I keep saving them.....

I do think it would be nice to sew the sheep, little rain coats out of the reinforced clear tarp material, though...have you considered that?

I've got about 30 feed bags saved - free for the taking if anyone wants them. Mostly various purina and Payback- (Abers comes in a paper bag, and Scotts in plain white - not that exciting). I was going to sew totes, but now I'd rather use the time for something else.

I guess it all depends where you are standing. Your 4:08 is 6:08 for me and since I am getting ready for work for the day I'd say day crew.

I guess it does depend on where you are alright.

I did want to tell you of my experience of Colville WA (sp) we went to vist DH Uncle and Aunt & family when our kids were young. It was July and we had along our summer clothing, and for several hrs each day it was fairly warm, but come evening say around 4:00 the temp. started to drop and we could not get enough clothing on to stay warm. The family heated by wood stove starting about that time and going all night untill about noon. Our kids and ourselves were miserable all night long. The weather was clear and beautiful but no real warmth to the sun and I think a very short growing season. I hope that this helps you.

Thank You.

We may change our minds once we are out there but we are so tried of the heat and needing to run the AC all summer that we may welcome the cool weather. The short growing season is the only con, but there are work a rounds to extend the growing season.

my guess is, after Kansas' never-cooling-much-at-night ... that would be welcomed !

I was certainly delighted when my dad was transferred out of Oklahoma and back to the west coast
