Mike you sell Impeyans??
I have to ask, what are their requirements in such a cool, rainy climate as this? I've always wanted to add a rare, spectacular Pheasant program to my collection, especially Impeyans but I figured they'd be very cold/cool/rain intolerant?
They are the National Bird of Napal!
They prefer to be cold. That is why they do so good over here.
The requirements are a large area, 15'x15' min they are diggers but like to nest high. so your box has to be off the ground.
Dirty sandy soil w/ straw mixed in seems to be what works good for me.
Mine are also in an area that is alittle smaller that I quoted ya, so they can make it. More is better ofcourse.
They are pretty darn quiet, the hen squaks every once in a couple weeks. Don't eat much, Matter of fact they don't do much either.
Just plane birds that are pretty to look @!!!
Mike
