seems to be relatively easy to move around this side of the state, if you want to go north-and-south, particularly if you are not far off I-5
going east-and-west can be more of a challenge .. too many rivers, too many valleys, too many ridges, too many tree farms !
it's nice, though, to be semi rural; I'd never have been able to keep chickens in suburban Edmonds (just off the Lynnwood line), nor in Renton Highlands, nor in Kent (modern condo type development); and while *I* could have kept chickens in Star Lake, my hubby-of-the-time was deathly allergic to fowl of all sorts
