ok guys, I sent a pm out for this but, that person is offline now, someone told me that you can tell the sex of a chicken by the length of it's wing feathers?? The hen has longer wings or the roo? I have identical BOs and the comb this is not working, no one is crowing and they are like march or april babies!!

You can buy anything you need for fly tying at Cabela's or Sportsmen's warehouse, or fly fishing shops, or on line over the internet, you need not have to "harvest" your materials.
Cabela's did have classes for a while..call & ask at the Sportsman's Warehouse too.
Also Gander Mountain, I thinks...

My Dr. has me on vitamins that have a little higher content of Vit. D. Its not an over the counter type prenatal, its called medical food...

All i know is that its a pain in the throat to swallow, as these geltabs are bigger than the pills that I have to give the sick horse! Good grieff!

Every time I try to take one, it gets stuck in my throat, and hurts for a good 20 minutes.

I meant where you said on your Mom's property you can hear it under the soil...noy uphill at the source that is now dry.
Our spring behind our cabin is dry too...usually has lots flowing...but, it is just running low with less water, and still runs underground in a few places.

Oh ok! lol silly me, thought you meant to go dig on our neighbors property! lol Stupid baby brain and horemones! lol I'll have to ask and see what moms other half has to say about a hole being dug in his field. lol He is very protective!

I do know that when you poke a stake in the ground, there is only resistance for the first 16" after that its super soft, and sinks very easily into the ground.

I know my mothers property used to be a revine. Back in "I want to say the 50's or so" the ravine was filled in with large cedar stumps, other woodland debre, rock and dirt... You can see spots in the field that are slowly settleing and creating low spots where water pools up to 8" deep.
